“Calling Imperial Pilots”
Inspired by the Star Wars films that I love and the comics I grew up on, I created this Tie Fighter poster and it was a lot of fun to make.
We’re all familiar with the Tie Fighter and it’s design, perhaps even more so the sound they make as they travel through space. But those Star Wars ships will be endlessly popular because they capture our imagination in that lived-in world.
For this Tie fighter poster I wanted to capture the comic effect that you’ll see in the Star Wars Dark Empire comics. They were some of my go to comics in my childhood and even now they are treasured, hopefully I’ve done them justice!
