This piece is a bit of a departure for me in both style and the method in which it was created. I employed a more freestyle method applying layers of ink, paint and even some graffiti marker in there until I had something that worked for me. If I’m honest it sat in my studio for months while I thought about painting over it, I could only think that it was a painting only I could like. After a positive reception from a few friends I decided to give it a couple more washes in ink to bring out the colours and finally lacquered the canvas.
Overall size is 23 x 30 cm (9″ x 12″) approx on stretched canvas.
