108 Street Artist | Urban Art
Born Guido Bisagni in 1978 and hailing from Alessandria, Italy 108 street artist has created original work on the streets of his home town of Alessandria, Paris, London, Milan, Berlin and New York.
At a young age he used many different names as he created graffiti in Alessandia but eventually he found the original notion of using numbers instead of letters for his name, making him the first. As he grew he moved from more traditional graffiti art to creating large scale wall murals that are often challenging and abstract with an emphasis on the colour black.
In 108’s more recent works he has concentrated on creating labyrinthine compositions, dead trees, three dimensional objects and installations with strong, dark and moody shapes. 108 is now recognised as one of the most influential and active street artists who embrace the abstract-ism movement within the graffiti community.
In the last few years 108 street artist has taken part in a variety of international exhibitions including Nusign 2.4 in Paris, the Urban Edge Show in Milan, Segundo and Tercer Asalto in Zaragoza, Walls Exhibition in the Biennale di Venezia and the Nomadaz festival in Los Angeles.
