Funny Classic Poster Art

Classic Poster Art / Funny Classic Posters

Check out this collection of classic poster art most of which is so bad they’re great!  Times change but some of these classic posters must have looked pretty bad even when they were released.

I don’t think they could get away with some of the titles these days either.  ‘Girl with an Itch’ has got to be one of my favourite double meaning titles and the artwork for ‘She Demons’ has got to be some of the worst I’ve ever seen.  I’ve got to say I don’t think Jack Palance has had his body replaced, that arm is like a tree trunk!

Also check out the Japanese poster for family planning…a bit scary really, one day that baby will grow and destroy Tokyo with his mind powers.

Graffiti Art, Urban Art & Street Art

Graffiti art can be a beautiful thing.  Instead of blank, dark, grey buildings true artists can make a dull life more interesting!

Here’s a collection of some especially pretty urban art from around the world.

“Graffiti is an impulse to get recognized”
? Mint&Serf

“Art is an evolutionary act. The shape of art and its role in society is constantly changing. At no point is art static. There are no rules.”
? Raymond Salvatore Harmon

“Design is a fundamental human activity, relevant and useful to everyone. Anything humans create—be it product, communication or system—is a result of the process of making inspiration real. I believe in doing what works as circumstances change: quirky or unusual solutions are often good ones. Nature bends and so should we as appropriate. Nature is always right outside our door as a reference and touch point. We should use it far more than we do.”
? Maggie Macnab

Zombie Dinosaur! – Mr Pilgrim

Mr Pilgrim’s Zombie Dinosaur!

There isn’t much scarier to Mr Pilgrim than zombies, and when it comes to dinosaurs things can get pretty messy even in a PG film.  Not to mention being very difficult to kill at the best of times, so here’s an idea ZOMBIE DINOSAURS! Risen from the dead by an ancient curse they now roam the earth feeding on the living to sustain their enormous appetite for flesh!

Take note filmmakers I want to see this movie now! Made with as small a budget as possible!
